Trellis' founder, Jack Atwell has over 50 years of marine experience in both engineering and operational endeavors.  

Trellis began in 1987 as an engineer founded and engineer operated company. Focus in the beginning was on IT services to small, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies. Engineers sold, implemented, and ran every aspect of the business.  As the company grew, it became a leader in Integrated Computer System Technology.

Now, after weathering the storms in a volatile and ever expanding field, Trellis is courageously sailing into the future, pairing its computer experience with marine battery developments.   Teaming with Lithionics Battery,  we provide consulting services to the boating industry and boat owners through the selection and installation of Lithium batteries.

As in the past, Trellis recognizes the challenges of the world of business for the small and mid-sized companies and has positioned itself to provide the newest and most cost effective solutions to those challenges.
